The Hippo Cow is a deceptively ferocious farm animal that will defend you by biting anyone you're in combat with. It will also let you ride it as a mount, although it would rather eat grass and other meats than carry you around.
Upon purchase, your current character will be given a Hippo Cow egg in your /mob menu. Then, click to hatch it and give it a name. Then you can change its gender, other settings, and spawn it.
